On The Way to Palo Alto For Thanksgiving . . .

I’ll write about our trip next week. In the meantime, have a great Thanksgiving weekend and don’t eat too much turkey!

Magical Mom Moment (posted by Mom, of course!)

Today, I took TANK to Mommy & Me class. For those of you that follow this blog, you know what happened last week. Well, this week, TANK was awesome. More importantly, he really enjoyed himself, and laughed quite a few times during the singing and activities. We even made it to the beginning of parachute time before he tired out. This made today’s class quite special for us. I think someone might be ready for Gymboree in January!

This is a picture of him all blissed out at the end of class.

Preparing For Our Roadtrip to Palo Alto

This week, Mom and Kasia worked together to get me ready for my first roadtrip. We’re driving to Palo Alto for Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to meeting the Kaisers, Lindquists and Meyers for the first time. For the trip, Mr. Turkey dropped off my first backpack and it was full of books and toys for the car ride. (What a shame he’ll eventually be eaten!) Hopefully there’ll be enough room in the car for Mom and Dad’s stuff. I told Mom that part of having a baby is no more bag just for shoes. She’ll have to pack lite in order to make room for all my stuff. Yikes!

Happiest Baby in the Universe!

Today, I took Kasia out to a “Thanksgiving lunch” to thank her for all she does for me. She dressed me in this outfit (it’s her favorite!) and took this picture. She tells me I’m the happiest baby in the universe!

There’s Something About Mommy & Me Class . . .

Mom and I attended our third Mommy & Me class on Tues. It’s really challenging because class is during my mid-morning nap time, so for most of the class, I’m either sleeping or eating. I have yet to make it to the circle for the parachute. I usually start off strong doing some tummy time and then it slowly goes downhill from there with fussing, etc. Well, this week, I was grumpy because I wanted to sleep and then towards the end of class, I really lost it because I was hungry, and cried so loud that the whole class stopped what they were doing and all the moms helped “shush me.” Needless to say, it was a bit unnerving for mom who was working as fast as she could to make my bottle. But she promises that she’ll keep taking me until she goes back to work, and then in Jan. I’ll go to Gymboree with Dad. Hopefully, as I grow older, I’ll appreciate these outings more.

New Diaper Bag (posted by Mom)

As some of you know, it’s very hard to decide what babygear will work best for you. I recently discovered the new Juicy Couture stroller bag, and it’s fabulous! My Petunia PIckle Bottom Bag has limited space, and the boxy design makes it hard to lug around. (Thank you, Tank and Phil, for the new diaper bag!)

A Couple Ointments Mom Loves for Baby (posted by Mom, of course)

We have a serious addiction to Aquaphor! This ointment is the best for some of the minor rashes Tanner gets every now and then. It reminds me of the Windex from Big Fat Greek Wedding. It seriously heals just about everything.

Aquaphor - Baby Healing Ointment - 3 oz

We also really love Desitin Clear. We use this with every diaper change.

My First Major Art Project

Today, I worked on my Thanksgiving cards with Mom and Kasia. (Mom says this will be a Thanksgiving tradition.) I’m a budding Picaso (thanks to Kasia’s artistic talents), and loved feeling the paint on my hands and feet.
