This is a belated post, but we have all been battling the cold/flu these past few weeks. Two weekends ago, we went to Tulsa, OK to for a Koss Family visit. It was so much fun seeing all my very tall aunts and uncles and of course, playing with my cousins. Amelia is the “mommy” of the group, taking care of all of us. Jonah and I have a lot of the same interests — cars, trucks, trains. And Grace and I are the closest in age, and we both can be very serious at times. We had so much fun staying with the Posey’s. The trip was extra special because Mimi, Grandpa Koss and Auntie Lisa all came too. We went to COTM, the pumpkin patch (with pony rides and all), and had lots of family time. This was one of the best family get-togethers yet!

Mimi called Dad last night with a great idea — she suggested that I start opening my birthday presents so I’m not overwhelmed on the big day (this Thursday). I couldn’t have agreed more. So tonight I opened two very special presents from Mimi. Mimi knows how much I love trucks and made me a special truck blanket and a liner for my treat basket. A grandson couldn’t ask for a more loving Mimi. Thank you, Mimi.

My Auntie Lisa and Mimi came to visit me this weekend. On Friday, we stayed dry from the drizzle and went to Kidspace Museum and out to lunch. On Saturday, we went to the Farmer’s Market, Gymboree and then hiking up to Eaton Canyon. Mimi spoiled me with so many new toys and books. I’m one really lucky grandchild. And Auntie Lisa was so patient with me — especially keeping me distracted with all the things inside her purse. I’m one lucky nephew! Today was so boring not having them around!

A special moment with Auntie Lisa — as you can see I really look up to her . . . she’s an amazing lady!

Keeping my fingers crossed we beat UCLA so we can go to the Rose Bowl! Thanks, Grandpa Koss, for the USC t-shirt. Go Trojans!

This past weekend, my Koss grandparents from Midland, TX came to meet me. Mimi spent hours and hours holding and feeding me, and even took me on a walk around the neighborhood. I can’t wait for her next visit!
